Hexe became an addition to our household in  August 2005 because her pedigree is so similar to dogs we have certified and work at the present time. Hexe is a  social girl with a great temperament and we fell in love with her great working drives and her willingness to please. Although we got Hexe to train in Urban Search and Rescue, she quickly began training me in Schutzhund.  Hexe excelled in the sport and within 18 months obtained her Schutzhund 3, scoring high female in trial.  Eight weeks after her last litter was born, she came back, with them on the sidelines to win High in Trial, with a 288 (V– rating).  She is now titled 4x over, her most recent being at the 2008 USA National German Shepherd Championships! What a ride for a first time hander.  

 

Her hips are OFA "good" and elbows  are OFA "normal".

 

Hexe was sired by  Ex Von der Grube Waldecke, CD, SchH 3 (Eike) who was  a working police dog.  Eike was sired by Yoschy von der Dollenwiese, SchH3,  a dog well known for producing great working dogs. Hexe's grandsire, Wenatchee's Heiko, was a working police dog with El Dorado County Sheriff's Department and Placer County Sheriff's Department. He produced many working dogs currently doing Search and Rescue, Police, and Arson work.  Heiko's sire, Lauser vd Oelmool, SchH I (Tauser) was an East German import who also worked as a police dog with Rio Vista Police Department,  in Northern California.

Striking, large and impressive solid black male in a class by himself. Achieved V rating (excellent) in conformation. Noble and strong head type. Received the highest Koer rating of KkL1. Bred in Germany many times to improve overall working ability. Friendly, outgoing temperament, excellent manners with children and small dogs. Obedience is powerful and lively with a strong desire to please the handler. Extreme drive, will work all day for the ball or anything you pull out. Protection is very powerful with forceful barking in the guarding phase. Grips always full and very hard. Scored 95-94-97(V )in Schutzhund 3.

 

His pedigree is outstanding,  known for strength, drive, and longevity. Mother is Wicki von den Wannaer Hohen, daughter of V-Deika von den Wannaer Hohen (SG-BSP), known in Germany for having a positive impact on working German Shepherds of today. This is considered one of the best mother lines of the breed today

 

Father is well-known BSP competitor, Quax von der Fasanerie (SG-BSP), SchH3, IP3, FH1. Lines to Boy vom Pendel Bach (SG-BSP), Fado vom Karthago. Quax is known for his powerful and real aggression.
